Freight

We can provide large freight solutions within the top of the South Island.

We travel weekly from Blenheim to Kaikoura, Christchurch, Ashburton and Timaru.

We can transport your concrete pipes, posts and timber.

We also transport used tyres to a disposal company in Christchurch.

 

 

Lime and Fertiliser Spreading

We cart bulk fertiliser direct to your site.

We spread any type of fertiliser, on your paddocks or in the vineyard. We work alongside suppliers such as Ballance and Ravensdown. Providing a seamless solution from our Ballance fertiliser store in our yard at Riverlands Estate Blenheim to your paddock.

If you are looking for Lime, we can collect and spread Waipapa Lime.

Our spreader truck is a 2WD certified spreader with Tracmap.

 

 

Hi-Ab Crane Truck

Our Hi-ab crane truck can be on the job to lift rural, commercial, industrial, and domestic products.

Loads can be lifted out to 21 metres.

Lifts: 12,000 kg up to 14 metres high out to a length of 2 meters

Payload capacity: 6,500kg

Maximum wide load: 3.1 metres, wider loads can be carried with pilot vehicles and permits.

20 Ft container twist locks.

Pilots are available for wide loads.

 

 

Bulk Cartage

We can provide bulk cartage solutions within Marlborough.

We travel weekly to Kaikoura, Christchurch, Nelson, Marlborough, Picton, Ashburton and Timaru.

We can transport your gravel, sand, pipes, posts, fertiliser, grapes, concrete products, wool, recycling and timber.

 

 

Livestock

At Heagney Bros we understand that your livestock are part of your family and income.

We specialise in the movement of stock throughout the North and South Island. As a leading livestock transporter, we ensure traceability of animal movement from one place to another.

We work with all major meat processors such as AFFCO, and silver Fern, CMP and Alliance.

We have experienced operators who specialize in the transportation of deer, sheep, cattle, pigs, goats.

Cull cows, bobby calf collection, dairy herd, heifer shifts, bull delivery, farm to farm, sale yard pickup and delivery.

All our crates are certified and accredited.

 

 

Loader Hire

We have a variety of loaders available for short and long-term hire with operators. Give us a call to arrange a quote.

 

 

Rural Cartage

Rural farm products such as hay, baleage, straw, wool, stock feed, and farm machinery.

We can also transport your grain, seeds, peas, and corn.

 

 

Log Cartage

We run a modern fleet of log trucks that are enabled with the Trimble dispatch system, GPS tracking and CTI on most vehicles. Our vehicles transport logs within Marlborough to a variety of locations including, Nelson and Kaikoura.

We can provide a total cartage solution in the Marlborough sounds with log truck cartage, and loaders for barge loading operations.

We have a specialist off road six-wheel drive Mercedes for difficult roading conditions.

 

 

Grape Harvest Cartage

We are NP1 certified for the transportation of grapes from the vineyard to the winery. We can provide both bulk tippers for grape transportation and flat decks for hand picks.

We have had years of grape harvest experience, working alongside most if not all harvesting crews in the Marlborough region. We are experienced in planning and delivering on longer cartage time dependent journeys from Nelson, Central Otago, Gisborne and the Hawkes Bay.

We have a certified grape marc pad onsite and can provide grape marc transportation and disposal to meet your needs. We have long standing customers who convert grape marc to stock food.

 

Storage

If you are looking for long or short term storage, we have internal storage areas available onsite in Riverlands Industrial estate.  There is a total area of 890sqm, smaller areas are available.  There is an external yard area 4,700sqm.
